It was on the last weeks of may 2010 when a friend of mine came and shared his idea to me, he said he had an idea of helping the youths of Tanzania in ICT field. I was impressed and congratulated him for his great Idea. I didn't pay any attention to him until when he came for the second time and say, "Hey Festus can we work together so that this idea may come into reality?". My googness! I didn't hesitate I responded why not?, I can work with you and make sure that we achieve this big dream! But why did I agree to join hands with him? This is the point of interest, you can't imagine what was going in my mind, I saw a very big picture of what we are going to contribute for the society of Tanzania, when I thought of it and tried to visualize how it will work for the youths I said this is what I have to do! YTI started with only 11 members and I thank God that I was among the Founder members. What keeps me working in YTI until today is nothing else than the picture which I always see in my mind when I close my eyes, I get scared when I see it and open my eyes very quickly! It is so amazing, you can't even imagine. I would like to tell you what this dream is, but i'm afraid you would get scared and I don't want you to get scared! This dream has to come into reality, YTI has to stand on its own feet and walk to wards its goals, it will take Tanzanian youths from zero knowledge to experts of ICT, a thousands of youths will one day stand and say "Thank God almighty for YTI's existence, if it wasn't for it we couldn't reach where we are now". This has to come true!
